Accessing Food Relief

Accessing food relief services can be easily done by using the following sites below. The only information required is where you are located. When inquiring, please note any dietary requirements or allergens you may have. Please get in contact with Skyline if you are struggling to navigate the sites below and need of food relief help.

For help accessing food relief services, please use the SecondBite‘s food finder tool here to find services near you. After entering your postcode, locations are listed in order of closest location to best suit you and your needs. Inquire further on the website to see if delivery services are available.

Alternatively, use Ask Izzy to find food support near you here. Navigating the website; click “Community Meals” and enter your postcode to browse options closest to you. Other provided services on the website can help with food parcels and vouchers.

Living in inner Melbourne, Geelong, Melton or Mornington Peninsular; use Health Direct Melbourne‘s map here and navigate with the map to identify local food relief centres.

Ozharvest; has a food relief finder for all across Australia and lists the 10 closest food relief centres near you by postcode; click here. This includes regional and remote suburbs.

Lifeline’s service finder; use the “Advanced Search” option, search for “food” and type in your postcode in the location bar.

For Melbourne residence, consider the attached. file and search for your suburb (in alphabetical order).

Other services to consider within your local area: Red Cross, St Vincent de Pauls, Salvation Army, benevolent societies, churches and food banks.

As of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sikh volunteers have also extended their services to delivering cooked vegetarian food. See flyer below,
